Caller: Fake Amazon Scammer

Classic automated Amazon Scam call advising that $99.99 has been charged and to press 1 for Support...
After repeating the message twice it puts you through to a person, but they didn't respond.
Not much of a scam if they're not willing to talk!
This number must be used for Spoofing.

Bill is overdue by 1 week and mostly paid off, yet agl called on this number and says "hi I'd like to talk to you about how we can help" and nothing else. Impatient pigs

Wanted to verify my details told them I won’t and they hung up

A woman with foreign (sounding) accent says she was "from AGL, my energy provider." I just said "well, you got that wrong! you're not my energy provider, but you are are scammer", then hung up.

A woman called, she claim to be AGL. She sent a text message that does look like sent from AGL to proof herself. I sort of bought it and gave my last name. She was able to name the exact amount I am overdue as well. But then, she insist that I pay over the phone. I said I'll use BPAY, she said it required processing time. We both insisted for 3 rounds. It can't be AGL. damn you.

So i have 4 unanswered calls from this number co incidently my AGL bill was 3 days overdue (never ,ever been paid late but i did forget last week) and i had paid it this morning . Googling this number for the missed calls with no message i found this page so it must indeed have some thing to do with AGL and if so that this is some kind of AGL robodebt after being 3 days late i will be changing my energy provider this month.

Said they were AGL, wanted to discuss my account, yeah Why?? Asking for all my info to verify myself..told them nothing and said Id call AGL myself..they hung up .

rang twice today, no message left.

Claimed to be from Amazon and someone placed a order in my account for $1300..and hackers in america are placing orders and they needed to go through a cancellation. Asked them for my details that they had, which was old information and wrong. As soon as I asked for my surname of the account they hung up on me.

Caller: Fake Commonwealth Bank

Called me and said was commonwealth bank needing to authorise a $499 transaction. Asked for who they thought they were calling. Told me her name (call centre from India) I then reiterated it and said my name was Lucy Vaggabon! Not me

Had a male call me saying he is from AGL and after a short introduction he proceeded to ask for my personal details (DOB, surname) to verify my details so he could proceed. When I refused to give my details, he said he could not proceed without them. I asked what the call was about, he just said 'sorry, I cannot proceed with your details' and hung up.

They said my AGL bill is overdue and to give them my last name and date of birth. When i asked them for more info they said they couldn't tell me unless i confirm my identity. I said because i can't verify who is calling i can just call AGL back. They said if i don't give them my DOB and surname they will just keep calling me lol. These low life filth don't deserve to be using up Earth's resources.

Most definitely a scam call, as soon I refused to give out my last name, bitch became aggressive and that was enough for me to know she was a scammer.

From recent comments people have been saying its agl, funny, this is 02 Sydney,AGL is based in Melbourne. This could be a scam cos I was just on agl website so someone is tracking my phone

I don't pay for energy. I keep getting calls from this number though.

i think its a scam because i looked up agl anytime... not a thing and only number for agl is 131245
