Assuming it's agl Robodebt after looking at previous entries, after a barely overdew bill, like a month over, paid most of last bill off, I'll be talking my business elsewhere, something I should have done a long time ago

Repeatedly calls and does not leave a message. Only scammers, thugs and other filth who are not on legitimate business engage in these behaviours. If this is AGL, as suggested by other posts, they really need to improve their standard of communication. This is reprehensible.

Same experience as others above: call received about AGL Gas account. I mistakenly took the call when I was 'muted' on a teams meeting. When I told them I couldn't handle the call right now and to call back later, the caller became aggressive and very rude. He would not listen. Usual 'have to do it now' tactics. I told the guy I would sort it later. He got very rude so I hung up. I paid via BPay later that day. He actually phoned my up again two days later and wanted the payment transaction reference.
Lots of background call-centre noise. Almost sounded like the guy was using a mobile phone due to wind noise.
After his call, a woman phoned up asking about my electricity bill. She knew my firstname and asked for my surname and DOB to which I said 'how do I know who you are ?' She hung up.
Accent suggested a Philippeans call centre.
If this really is AGL, they need to sort this - very bad customer relations!

Had a call from this number who stated it was AGL and they wanted to discuss my account. The gentlemen with a very strong accent asked me to identify myself and I said, " No, you called me". He then said "that's fine, they start the collection then". I then rang AGL to discuss my account and mentioned what had occurred. The gentlemen I spoke to sounded like the first caller!! Strange!!. He said that the call was genuine and that is what they do before transferring the call. I assured him that no one will be handing out their personal details that easily to a random caller and I expressed my dismay at this whole process and handling by AGL.

Young girl called sounded Chinese speaking down to me saying we have to cooperate and obey agl demands, asking access to my bank, saying are you going to cooperate and obey us, I think not, it is agl third party call centre they had all my information, very rude telling me to shut up and obey.

Called me two times to talk about my AGL account. Asked for my full name and date of birth to confirm the account. I said, you called me, so you should already have that information. I let them know I would call AGL to confirm myself what the enquiry was about. Called AGL directly - no one tried to contact me about my account. Reported the number to AGL directly. Do not give your information to them!

They knew my account number and the amount outstanding. I was asked for my name and date of birth, which I gave. Then were quite insistent that I needed to do this over the phone with a card. Too insistent. Said doing it online would take too long and I'd be charged a late fee. Much too pushy. I hung up and paid via Paypal.

They called me to say my bill was overdue (I hadn’t received any prior reminders). I said I pay the same day (which i did). They again called me the following morning saying the account was overdue, and I said it’s been paid and that they check notes from yesterday’s call. When i get a third call on day three, i lost it. The woman says she can see that the money has come through, but is now asking me a heap of questions; why were you late (2 weeks), do you need a payment plan, do you need gas with AGL. I told her to stop and that I’d go elsewhere if they don’t stop spamming me. Extremely bad service, but ok, lessons learnt, that’s what you get if you’re late

I sent email to AGL, telling them about the rude aggressive person I got the other day that called me & I received a email this morning & the caller has been disciplined, I also received a extensions (3 weeks) on my one day late bill that I told the rude man I would pay tonight. Everybody email the complaint line & they might start using people that actually empathise with us as unless their told about their rude staff, they don’t know how they treat us on calls.

I just wake up and I saw 4 missed calls from this number after 9pm .
It said Sydney so I tried to call back and it was a Robert saying from AGL. Account asking to confirm my identity.
I hanged up straight way because I’m not late with my bills so why is the F* they calling me a after hours?
I’m going to make a complaint to AGL online I assume there Data Based is hacked.
Because I’m. Already registered to communicate with me they can email me I don’t take any random call.
