They hang up.
Computer robo call? Checking out numbers to see if answerable for a later human scam ???

I keep getting calls with no-one on the other end but the calling numbers keep changing.

yep the same calling me twice a day on my mobile could be cba insurance?? bloody annoying!

This is MLC (which I think is something to do with NAB bank). They called me a couple of times during work hours. I requested them to call after hours, but they just keep calling back several times a day while I am at work, which is very annoying. I recognise the number now and ignore it.

If you call back it says its about MLC life insurance on the msg

Repeated calls at all hours between 8AM and 6PM.
Currently being used by MLC insurance telemarketers.

I think it may be as you described, "answer fax crap" or tele-sales.
I have previously answered unknown numbers and asked them to remove my number from their list, but I have missed these guys calling each time.

Ive been getting them calling me every night around 6pm. I dont answer numbers i don't know and most people leave a message. This number doesnt leavi messages so i'm guessing it's a sales call. Wish they would stop calling

This number calls me business hours five days a week, three times a day. I don't like answering calls that I don't know, especially when the area caller code is different when I'm from Vic. I did however have experienced from the past when I did used to answer the '02' number they either don't speak or some answering fax crap! So I just basically just ignore my phone most of the time when I see this number. It would be nice if this can be stopped and stop wasting my time or at least have some idea of who IS calling me.

I also get around one or two calls a day, but have just screened them all so I don't know who they are from.
