I too have received hang ups from this number.
If you have an iPhone, u can download an App called True Caller and u can then block this number from calling you again...

I just phoned this number back. The message says that its Avon services Australia, contacting about MLC essential life? which I have apparently received information about in the mail?

Don't know anything about it.

I've had 9 calls in 7 days and they never leave a message. Today they called 4 times and I managed to answer the last. They were calling about NAB and MLC life insurance but it took a while for them to respond once I answered.

We have been receiving calls from this number at work and they hang up when I answer

Got a bunch of missed calls from them during the day when I don't have my phone with me. Probably spam or some scam.

I have this no call me once or twice a week over a period of 2 months. Really annoying and they are not leaving a message. Wish there was a way to block that no from my phone.

I got 3 missed call from this number. They always call me when I'm not around. SO annoying!

I've had this number call me almost daily over the last week. I've only answered it once which was a hang-up. As they don't leave any messages, I won't call them back. From experience I no longer answer any numbers starting with 02- 8094.... as the tend to repeat the above scenario. I'm getting fed up with it and would love to be able to put a stop to it.

Just had a call from this number, looks like from the same call centre as (02) 8094 5850, which was either Westfield or the Commonwealth Bank according to posts on this site.  It annoys me that when the call is unanswered and goes to an answering machine (on which a message is never left) these people probably get paid for making the call since it is "answered".  I believe numbers can be generated at random thus bypassing "do not call" and unlisted numbers.

yes the same situation as me, last week is (02) 8094 6419 i was called from this NO. when i answered they hung off.why they call me??????
