i keep getting the same number calling me, OMFG, i wish (02) 8094 5850 would stop ringing my mobile... if i do answer there is silence and then they hang up. i have tried to call the number and its a recording saying "you have been contacted by a hosted contact centre service, you maybe called again in the future, thankyou goodbye" f-f-f-ing annoying cause im getting about 20-30 calls a day from it

i got one today 5.10pm on mobile… am just a bit curious after getting a 3am call and hangup on the weekend (on landline and probably unrelated but still annoying)

Had same number show up an hour ago. Was driving so couldn't pick it up anyway. I never call these numbers back. I always Google or come to this site!

I sent an email to westfield this is the response i got. Thank you for your email in relation a telephone call you received from us in relation to your Westfield Group (WDC) securities and the Westfield Retail Trust (WRT) proposal.
Due to the scale of the Offer, we are using a third party provider (Georgeson – who are a subsidiary of Computershare (our registry)) to conduct an inbound and outbound campaign in relation to the WRT proposal.
The outbound campaign has been established due to the large volume of information we have sent to investors. The telephone calls we have been making to WDC investors have been to ensure that they have received their documentation and to ensure that they have understood the information enclosed. In addition to this, I understand they have asked investors as to whether they will be taking up their entitlement to additional securities and their voting preferences for the EGM to be held on 9 December 2010.
Georgeson have sourced investor contact details via the White Pages – they have matched up holder details (initials and states) and have attempted to contact investors this way.
I do apologise for any distress, inconvenience, and displeasure you may have experienced having received a telephone call from us.

I just got a call from this number today - second in a week and when I answered they hung up - dont know the number of who it is - do we all share some strange bond with this number or caller - I am from Queensland.
