Calls all the time and leaves no message. I'm also a Optus mobile user so I'm assuming that's why but it's so rude to get calls so many times through the day. I'll be in a lecture and bam there it is again. Finally blocked the number today hopefully that'll be the last of it for a while.

Claimed to be from Optus. Knew my mobile number, kept asking date of birth, wouldn't give any indication as to reason for call other than offering a "handset upgrade" - seemed very suspicious.

i get up to 3 calls everyday. wish they'd give up. had to block number. but im sure they will call from another number

The problem is the DO NOT CALL REGISTER has all these exemptions. Being an existing customer is one of them. If you have told them to stop calling you then you have done your bit. Should lodge a comeplaint

This number does not stop ringing, I clearly have no intentions of answering. If no message is left, I know it's not important and definitely a scam. Blocked!!

It's actually got nothing to do with Optus...it's telemarketers and there's not much that your phone provider can do if the company has gotten a hold of your number somehow.

Calling 2 - 3 times a day extremely annoying, i haven't answered any of their calls

Just like many others, got a call today saying she was OPTUS. Asked me to confirm my D.O.B. and I said I was not comfortable giving it over the phone to someone who called me. She said she had my details in front of her and that she was from OPTUS what more did I want. I asked her what they could do for me and she hung up, not good customer relations.

Number keeps calling, haven't picked up. Even calls after 6:30 the other night and not long after 7am.. Probably just going to block the number. Could be a telemarketer or scam

thank you for the information pete as i just got a call from them which i didnt answer. that to me is suspious that can only be accessed from an optus phone.

Im on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER. STILL get calls!!! I've tried to contact Optus about it, falls on deaf ears. Over them calling non-stop every day. get the hint Optus listen to your customers or lose them. STOP CALLING ME!

OMG non-stop daily and even after 5pm. I've never answered and have rejected calls. OPTUS please FIX THIS! we are sick of being harassed!

If you are getting these calls on your mobile just add the number to auto reject list.
