Spam keeps calling

Same with me this evening. Phone call, which I did not answer as the phone was out of earshot, and no message left. Have put a block on the number but they seem to have lots more numbers.

Caller: Wesfarmers re demerger of Coles

Seeking a positive vote. Legit.

missed call and I called back, it was the answering machine said they are on behalf of Wesfarmer and will call me back.

They wanted to know how I had voted regarding the demerger of Wesfarmers. Just hung up!

They leave a "blank message" when diverted. Nuisance.

Missed call no message left which indicates scammer to me

Called 3 times in last week. Just distant voices in background.

This was a missed call, with no message left, on a Saturday afternoon from an unknown number. Judging by the previous record from this number, I'd say it is almost certainly a predictive dialer, designed to target live numbers. So the same people who harass our landlines have now moved to our mobiles......

Just hung up when I answered.
