Woman called my boyfriends phone asking about me and my shares. This is not possible - scammers please beware and be careful people do not give any details

People are saying it is a legit call to do with share holdings of asx listed companies..... Careful.... They call me, I have no shares in an asx company

Caller: Dissemination of information regarding ASX listed company

Mine related to: my options as a shareholder of HLS which was subject to a hostile takeover. They provided information about the boards recommendation. This phone call followed an legitatmate email I had received the day prior from the board in response to the hostile takeovers ‘offer to shareholders’.
Legitimate business engaged by board of ASX listed company to deliver timely information to shareholders.

They call the share holders of certain companies. Not spam.

They called several times this week. Didn't answer, but based on prior comments ot was probably about a corporate take over in a company in superannuation fund

I have had about 20 calls different share every time
Dont have shares
Definitely a scam

If they ring enough people about alleged AGMs or takeovers, they may eventually find a match with whatever company they pretend to be from. Then they will want personal and financial details and the scam really begins..

Don't believe people making comments who say they are legit..

I keep getting phone calls on both my landline and mobile from this number, so they obviously know who I am. It's a worry. I don't answer and they never leave a message.

Legitimate caller. Calling about a company that's being acquired, that I hold shares in. Providing information about the sale and vote.

Caller: Someone re the stock exchange

Could not clearly under stand the name, or the company, but it was 7.00pm on a Friday night, and I was out for dinner. hence I did not answer. Listened to the message - it was about voting in a company, I don't believe I had shares in. Just a spam called n the end, and have blocked.

I keep getting calls from this number. Another one today, probably more to come. I refuse to acknowledge any calls that come to me this way. If someone wants me, they need to leave a message & I will reply. But "no message" usually means a Scammer. Maybe they are not a scammer. If I do happen to answer this number, they will really get a blast from me & if near my landline, they might also hear a whistle come down the line, which may affect their hearing for a little while, but I don't care. I am sick of getting these calls with no message.

Reminder to vote as shareholder for Realwise acquisition of Kyckr which I have shares in. Legit call, terrible quality line though.

I think this one is a regular caller. I wish they would go & jump in the lake. At least with my mobile, it rings, I can't always get to it to answer but no matter, no name means not someone I know, so I never answer. It is still a pain. They should have to pay for their phone calls, that would stop them & make a lot of money for the providers.

From what others have written, it is a Call centre. I would not deal with any company that uses Call centres. I keep getting calls from this number, no message. Today I decided to call back, phone connected, rang and rang, then rang off. Obviously they only use this number to annoy us, but don't take calls from same number. I notice when looking at incoming calls there is a number (57B) after the message. This same number appears on some other legit calls I get. Other calls have different numbers in brackets. Anyone know what this number means.

They called asking for me take a survey about a joint merger between Greater bank and Newcastle permanent bank.
