Caller: Don't know, don't care

I'm sick of these people, whoever they are, regularly calling me. I blocked this number some months ago as I didn't recognize it - you'd think if they had one brain cell between 'em, callers from this organization would realize that I have blocked their number as calls go straight to voicemail. Of course they're spammers or nuisance callers - if they were legit they'd leave a message. AND I don't need reminding about voting in AGM's if that's what they're about! I make up my own mind about such things. May their chooks turn to emus and kick their dunny down!

Interestingly, after having received numerous (unanswered) calls from this number, I now have a downloadable voice message waiting for me. Seems like it might be a political message considering there's an election coming up. I will now block this number!

So why don't they use caller ID?

This was a phone call to remind me to vote as I am a shareholder.

Ii have been receiving calls from this number most days for the past week. I have some shares, and I am happy to talk to them and hear what they have to say. However, when I answer, there is nobody there.
Strange way to get a message through!
Now blocked.

Someone called to my mobile to have a shareholder proxy vote for Sydney Airport.

Caller: Sydney Airport

This seems to be a legitimate, but low value call. My call was unsolicited and was about providing information for voting for a proposed corporate action.

Caller: Jennifer...

Called twice, i did not answer, no message left, sounds dodgy, I will block the number.

Spam call. From voicemail she claimed to be ringing about the Sydney Airport takeover but shareholders vote on that and are not contacted by telephone.

Computershare advising of an upcoming purchase of a share holding I have.

Caller: SAL - Sydney Airport Alliance

Voting on Sydney Airport Sale to SAL. Likely to be scam since Computershare has all my details. The vote will likely be next February.

Got call on mobile today. No caller indicated. No message left. Thanks - will follow advice and block.

Caller: Morrow Sadali - "Stephen" - as if

Claims to be providing information about Oil Search Santos merger. I get a call every second day from them so computer is persistent. Must be making money from call. Maybe it is reverse charged. I said I wanted to make money too. Who do I send an invoice to? Banter went on so I hung up before it got too expensive.

Scam! Don't answer. Claim I owe taxes to ATO

Claiming to be from "Oil Search Register" where the lady wanted to ask me questions about my oil account, however the contact she has was to my phone with the the name of a family member. when I asked her how she got my contact number she said "it was from a public contact list on the net, from the Oil Register online"

Hung up when I answered.

It’s a scam. Block it.
