I called back the number (02) 8006 8549 and the lady on the other line said I reached Australian Taxation Office

Caller: Said they were taxation department

Called number from private and hangs straight they did leave a message... robot voice message saying taxation fraud ... theses people that do this are so stupid makes my blood boil 😡

Automated message saying that I was being investigated for tax fraud, that they had tried to contact me multiple times and were now going to court. Message demands that you call back. So I did....from a private number....and these idiots answered. So I asked them for the name and contact details of their head of legal so that they could talk to my lawyer. The difference is that my lawyer DOES work for the ATO. Dumbasses.

Lol got this message left on my phone..

“You missed a call from (02) 8006 8549, who said "And the investigation team of our department is investigating you and your family. We had trying to notify you regarding this issue but we never got any response from." This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you”

These scamming pricks really piss me off so I called them, no answer.. tried a few more times & still no answer. Blocked my number then tried again & what do u know they answered!.. I knew it was a scam straight away so I gave the male voice a piece of my mind.. told him I was investigating him & that when I found him I’d cut his *d**k off & shove it down his throat!!! He & another male voice sounded scared then hung up.. haha gutless scammers!!!!

Automaten computer voice saying a tax law suit regarding intententional fraude has been opened against me. Scam?!

Computer generated message saying I, and my family, are being investigated for fraud and a lawsuit has been filed against me. Really? Leaves the number to ring back. What a bunch of losers

Automated voice says you are being investigated for tax fraud and to call this number. When you call it is answered by someone in a very noisy call centre saying Australian Tax Office. She said what did message say - I said that I am being investigated for tax fraud - she then hung up. Clearly something VERY dodgy here.

Scam claiming to be from the ATO claiming that you and your family are now being investigated for fraud and a law suite is now pending .

Asking me to contact back urgently for tax fraud.

Robot voice stating that me and my family are being investigated for tax fraud and that we need to contact them on same number.

Robot call: Claims to have been trying to make contact with me and as a result of no being able to contact me a law suit has been lodged. Then advises if you'd like more information then call this number.

My Partner missed the call and returned the call he had American Accent, partner explained she had a missed call asked who was he calling from, he asked who she was, she again asked who he was and then he hung up, then a few hors later got the recorded electronic voice about ATO stating she had committed tax fraud.

Robot voice message saying taxation fraud even I have no debt or refund ... The phone number is not in ato phone list. Call back from private but nobody pick the phone

Also received a call from this number today, an automated voice claiming to be from the ATO saying I was being investigated for tax fraud. I called my tax agent immediately and they verified it was a scam. They gave me an ATO number to report scams like this.

I had a voicemail from a robot sounding voice saying I’ve commited tax fraud and a case is being made against me and my family. Called the number back and a foreign accent speaking lady answered saying she was from the taxation office and wanted my details, I hung up and searched the number to find this page. Stupid scammers
