Caller: They say it is the Taxation Department

they said there is a law suit about fraud.

Left a message saying I would 'get' arrested if I didn't call back. Good thing I ignored it.

The message saying it's calling taxation office and a fraud tax return has lodged, i should call back...

Received the same call today ask me to return the call to (02) 8006 9622 otherwise i will be arrested

left a message on my voice mail - very aggressive demanding that I return their call and that I could be arrested - such a scam - and should be reported to the police - I am going to request that the ATO take action. This could be incredibly distressing for some people.

On 7/11/2018 I received an automated message to my mobile, said from the ATO, asked to call back saying they had a warrant for my arrest.
A scam call, do not call back.

Claimed law suit and arrest warrent in the same automated robotic voice. SCAMMM>

They ask to call back if not they will issue an arrest order. When call them they started asking for details they say that they can't tell me confidential information before they confirm my details . They asked me my full name and address I gave them but when they asked about date if birth I said hang on I know there is scams going on I will go to the taxation office my self then they hang up .

Have reported to the ATO and this is a scammer and will be contacting the police to trace the number ! Beware make sure not to call back !

just received voice message from this number with automatic voice recording saying "on this call there is a law under your name...The moment you received this message, I want you to call me back on my department at division 0... Now if we do not hear from you, we have to issue a rest warrant under your name and get you arrested.<blah blah blah> thank you.".
what a crap recording.

Left a recorded message saying they had a warrant for my arrest. Have not called back as I know this cannot be real

I just had the same scam with a message left on my voicemail suggesting an arrest warrant would be issued against me unless I immediately returned the call

Msg left advising there is a law suit pending and to call back or arrest warrant will be issued.

picked the call up, automatic voice machine said from ATO and legal proceedings start under my name
