Threatened me if I didn't return the call I would be arrested....don't even know who called

Said that I would be arrested if I don't call back. Saved number will not be calling back.

Msg left Said there was an arrest warrant about to be issued for me if I don’t call back.

From the so called tax office

Apparently from the "Taxation Office" Claiming I am going to be arrested unless I call them back. If you see this number pop up just hang up.

Male voice said that the ATO had a lawsuit about fraud, and that I needed to ring the calling number. Hung up.. obviously a scam.

Caller: They say it is the Taxation Department

they said there is a law suit about fraud.

Caller msg left: "there is a law? to getting filed under your name. The moment you recieve this message, I want you to get back to me on my department division No: 02 800"
Returned call.....no answer!

Caller: Fraudsters

Do not return a call from this number. They are con artists pretending to be government departments such as the ATO threatening lawsuits and arrest if you don’t pay them money. Beware this IS a fraud. The calls are automated using a computer generated voice to sound Australian. The phone number is a virtual line that can be hired for a few dollars a month. Most likely overseas scammers from Ireland, India, China or Russia.

Claimed there was a lawsuit about fraud filed in my name. Left a computer generated voicemail threatening me. I work in tax so I knew it was absolute bullsh*t.

disjointed computer voices put together to say from ato - scam, scam, scam

Said they were the Audit team of the ATO and were going to have me arrested

automated voice message saying - this message - I want you to get back to me on my department division number (phone number) now if we don't hear from you we have to issue arrest warrant under your name and get you arrested, so get back to us as soon as possible. (No more info on what department) - Scam.

Left a voicemail when I hung up saying if I did not call back they would arrest me...

FAKE ATO SCAM
I called back, and spoke to a Phillippine or Indian person called 'Evan Rogers'
They said they were from the ATO and located in Sydney. I asked them where exactly and they didn't respond, then hung up the call.

Msg left accusation of fraud, legal proceedings against me.
