After scamming a friend of $210, when I rang them up and ask them who they were they claimed to be Telstra Security. When I asked them another question they hung up

Got a call from 0419 625 103 from Internet Security services,asking if my internet speed is slow and if I don’t turn off internet from the box outside (not sure what box he was talking about), my internet would be discontinued. When asked for a callback number , he gave (02) 8005 5771,—- appears to be scam

I also had a call just a minute ago claiming that they are from Telstra security and that our isp is compromised. I asked for a number ((02) 8005 5771) to call back and search for the number on the net and luckily I find out many were called or given the same number to follow back the exact same number. I can see a number of people reported it as a scam number, so be careful fool from the scam.

I spoke to first a female & then a male claiming that they're from Telstra Cyber Security, wanting to speed up my internet connection. I didn't allow any remote assistance & wouldn't download the www.anydesk.com app. They cordially allowed me to return their call after researching their legitimacy. I'm choosing not to accept their help.

Told me he was in Melbourne. Then when I asked for a number to call back he gave me (02) 8005 5771. When I said that was Sydney he said he was in Sydney!?!
First said he wanted to help speed up my internet, then said he was calling as my internet has been hacked by overseas scammers.
When I challenged him he hung up!

I got a call from a person claiming to be from Telstra Cyber Security, Later I verified with Telstra myself, it was their Cyber Team's number they said, it was legit. They fixed my internet and computer without charging me a single penny. I am very satisfied with their work.

Scammers - Impersonating Telstra Technical support. Please do not accept a call from these people.

Told me their number was (02) 8005 5771 but actually called from +64212614384. Claimed to be Telstra security asking about my internet speed. I told them that I was not with Telstra so they told me they also work with Optus. I asked them for my name and they couldn't provide it.
I told them I searched the number he gave on here and said I can see a number of people reported it as a scam number. He hung up... so rude, I was about to read out a number of the reports on this page. Hope he calls back.

Claimed they were calling from Telstra's Internet Department. They phoned from 0412 122 226. I asked them to give me a number to call back on and they gave me the (02) 8005 5772. When I asked for the generic Telstra number, (ie 1800 or 13) and asked for what options I should press to get to their Department they disconnected the call.

Had a call from Jenni 0426 540 573 claiming they were Telstra security and that our internet security was compromised.
I asked for a number to call back and was provided with (02) 8005 5771.
Won't be calling back.
