They just called me saying they were from Amazon; I could tell it was fake and hung up.

Caller: Someone claiming to be Cyber Security from Telstra

Indian accent, asked me to type in my up address and told me not to tell him, said he was trying to help because my internet security was compromised, asked if it was public or private. I kept saying private and he got pi**ed off and told me not to lie to him. Then I asked why he was calling on a public holiday and hung up. Bloody annoying because I’m waiting for a call from the NBN about my connection!

Recorded message saying they were from Amazon and renewing my subscription automatically. Press 1 if I didn't want them to do it. Obviously I hung up

Was waiting for my GP to call about something important, these d*cks rang a minute and it was silent for 10 seconds before a click. Extremely annoying and I had to call my GP back.

Despite the parade last time and fake protests about "I had a missing call from your number" crap when I called them back last time on 7/1/22, they called me again today and hang up as soon as I said "hello". I called them back straight away again, but now they have set it so it goes to "this number is not connected" recording. So it is definitely scammers. And obviously, I forgot to block them. They are blocked now!!!

I get a call, answered straight away, they hung up after I said "hello". Called straight back, a guy with an Australian from non-Australian parents type of accent answers it and his excuse for ringing me "I had a missed call from your number". I just knew he was lying. It is obviously a scam and they did not expect a call back so soon after they rang.

Ph stated suspect scam did not answer blocked the number.

Looks like it's a scam call, multi sites have reports of this number all saying unsafe maybe related to bank scam or similar.
