Dialled back this mystery number & was put on hold I hung up

This number called me. She said she was my girlfriend/wife. She was talking absolute smut about sex. Also she kindly gave many death threats. Well i'm still here and alive.Please try your worst mystery woman. haha

Didn't answer this number as I am in another state as it came up Sydney, blocked the number and then checked on here. Appreciate everyone's comments

Often people who talk about sex on the phone to strangers don't realise that talking about sex is fairly common in Australia. I have found with scammers who try this on me that if they mention my mother, I say stuff like your mother asked me to find a man for your dad as he was complaining about your mother being terrible in bed. Then they will drop an F bomb so I drop the C bomb. It doesn't take these people on the other side of the world long to realise that nothing they can say is going to offend you and that you are capable of saying far more offensive things directed at them and they just hang up.

Called back after missed call. Immediately transferred to calypso hold music. Chipmunk voice telling me how important my call is.

As above. Very pushy. Wanting to tell me about their online trading, because apparently someone from our company number had enquired. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Hate having to hang up on people.

Another scam call from this series of phone numbers. Didn’t bother answering or call back. Blocked

Very pushy - tried to sell some sort of investment program. “ Explore Wealth” Said was in Grimsby in England - don’t think so. Try always to waste as much of their time as I can. Definitely a scam.

this idiot person rang from sydney and even had the cheek to leave a heavy breathing message. Stupid weirdo who gets off on ringing people and saying nothing. Odd fetish you have.

SCAM

Received a 30 second voice mail from this number with no introduction, just someone saying '[my first name]...hello?....yoo hoo? [my last name] family?'. I don't make a habit of giving my details to spam callers or even answering calls from unfamiliar numbers in the first place.

I missed the call, no message left. I called back and was put on hold. A squeaky voice states that you will be put through to and agent as soon as one is available. Super dodgy!

There was the usual delay when I answered the call and then a lady asked me to hold while she worked out what the nature of the call was...! Was definitely some sort of scam.
