Caller: Some Sydeny number (02) 8000 7281

Definitely a scam. Has tried to call me many times and repeatedly call so many times one after the other. I answered 1x. She had my name. Wanted to know if I owned a mobile or laptop and What I go online with. I said I don't own a mobile or use internet. She hung up. Like duh.....You called my mobile. Lol

Phone rang with this number. Let it go as it came up as Sydney Australia- I am in a different state and don’t know anyone there so figured it was a scam. No message left and glad I checked this thread. Blocked the number.

Had my name. I asked what she was calling about. She started to talk, then yawned, then hung up. Very bizarre. Expect it was a scam and she realised she was going to get nowhere with me.

Another day, another scam call.

Called. Came up on my phone as "suspected scam" so didn't answer. No message left. Blocked the number.

It alway hab=ngs up...voice that comes on and says "good bye" Very funny....ah, so funny.

My phone is on do not disturb and only numbers on my contact list got through. Any unknown numbers are silenced. So...I called back... Twice, I was put on hold with the chipmunk voice, telling "your call is very important, please stay on the line and you'll be transferred to the next available agent" (stupid hold music) - It never said " you have called, blah, blah and blah. it goes of a while and then another automated voice comes on "good bye" I keel calling back, as I want to give them a run for their money and make them think they have my interest....Hopefully, they answer and I can have a bit of fun!

as above. no message left. Getting fed-up with cold-callers who ignore the "do not Call " register

Returning this call gives you hold music, a sure sign or a spam or fraudulent service.

Claiming that I am someone that I am not, they failed to provide my actual name and proceeded to be aggressive about getting my name.

Very fishy and would not bother with this number at all. Hang up if you see it

Unfortunately answered the call, was a scam call about online trading classes

Called 4.30pm Melbourne time, did not answer, did not call back, did not leave a message.

Probably a scam. How do rogue Indian call centres manage to phreak Australian numbers? Carriers and Govt look unable to secure Australian sovereignty over our telephony
