Rang me 4 times today,
Automated message about my Tax file number and bank accounts going to be frozen and warrant for me arrest being placed.
I pressed 1 and got put through twice and both people answered the phone a different way. One Asian lady said Service NSW and the other was an Asian man who said NSW department of Crime.

Called me and then silence and hung up
Have blocked them based on comments from this site

Scam call firstly came from mobile number: 0418 596 609.

Scammer still using this number today (March 1st). Dodgy recorded message, tax file number and bank accounts will be suspended and an arrest warrant issued.

Scam caller, wanting full name, DOB, address and TFN to avoid having charges laid against me for syndicated crime. When I gave a fake name (you could tell it was fake) I got hung up on.

Scammer claims to be from the "Investigation Department" of "Services Australia". Claims that your tax file number has been suspended due to "criminal activity". Requests personal information including name and address.

Received a call. Said they were from Australian Services, something about criminal activity and my accounts were going to be suspended. Scam. They also called from 0430 858 017 and 0488 815 248.

THEY CAN EASILY STEAL YOUR IDENTITY AND SO FORTH, FROM TAX FILE NUMBER, BANKING DETAILS, HOME ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBERS; BUT THEY WILL KEEP CALLING YOU, EVEN IF YOU HAVE LOG AS DO NOT CALL REGISTRAR, BLOCKING THEM - THEY KEEP ON CALLING YOU ON ANOTHER NUMBER THIS INCLUDES PRIVATE NUMBER; THEY MAY BE CALLING YOU FROM TOO NUMBEROUS OF TIMES. YOU DISCONNECT YOUR OLD PHONE NUMBER, BUT STILL KEEPS ON ANNOYING YOU ON YOUR NEW PHONE NUMBER. THEY MAY ALSO, SAY THEY ARE FROM GOVERNMENT AGENCIES; APPARENTLY NOT ALL OF THEM ARE. SO, THE BEST THING TO DO IS CREATE A SEPARATE PASSWORD FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO, EVEN WHEN YOU SET UP A NEW BANK ACCOUNT ETC, AND CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD EVERY MONTHLY, SO HACKERS CANNOT ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT OR IDENTITIES DETAILS WHEN IT IS SECURE, YOU MUST ALSO, CREATE ASECURITY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ONLY YOU KNOW FOR YOURSELF; NOT EVEN YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO KNOW IT EITHER. I DO THIS WITH EVERYTHING TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.

Fake call about Taxation...looks like they're getting smarter by showing a ph number. Complete scam.
