Caller: "Commonwealth Bank"

Had a call this morning at 7:30am from this number. It was an automated voice message left saying that my Commonwealth Bank credit card had been declined for a $120.40 transaction and the card has been blocked. I am not with Commonwealth Bank nor have I ever been so this is 100% a scam. It then tells you to call a 1300 number 1300 480 873) to discuss. DON'T get sucked in by this!! Be careful if you are with CBA - it is fake!

Call received at 8:27am on a Saturday. I didn’t answer but found that they’d left voicemail exactly as described above. Horrible, robotic female American voice. I’ve never had a commonwealth bank account either and even if I did, I’d call them on a confirmed customer service number. Sick of these scamming bastards! Get a legitimate f-g job like the rest of us.

Caller advised a charge of $120 by CODA was blocked on my CBA card. There is no transaction on my card nor is the account locked. The voicemail was recorded and sail to call back on a 1300 number to verify. I believe this is a scam call

Apparently was a call from "Telstra" (who I'm not with) asking me to provide details for my network because they discovered issues with it... told him to go get a real job, which he then got defensive and started swearing at me HAHA... might have hit a nerve there!

I didn't pick up but the voicemail said it was from Commonwealth Bank. Definitely a scam! Don't pick up. Block the number!

I had a call from the same number with an automated message claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank saying that a purchase of $120.40 was declined on my card, and that my card had been blocked. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. It was not correct, this is 100% a scam
