Received call PM Monday 3 April, I don't answer unknown telephone numbers., check on the site reveals is a scam number, so is still operating. WHY doesn't government , Telstra or who ever? Just stop these

Answered. There was a voice message telling me this a call from Visa and Master and there was a charge of 1000 plus AUD. Press 1 to continue or press 2 to dispute

Answered this number on my home phone. Said hello 3 times, could hear the called being coupled up somewhere else. Long pause. Hung up. Blocked.

Caller: An Indian man

Absolutely a scammer!! An Indian man called me to discuss my internet issue, then hung on on me after I told them I do not have an internet. Why it's continue happening & they can get away with it!!!

Caller: said they were from Telstra

An Indian scammer called from this number. I told her she was an Untouchable and I was Brahmin.

Scammer, heard a click when I said hello as if someone was trying to get a voice recording.

Got a call on this number, rang back only to get a "disconnected service" message.

My phone's software automatically flagged this number as a Spam call.

A male pretended to be from Mastercard calling about a suspicious transaction. He became aggressive when I said I'd call Mastercard directly.

Just hung up when picked up!

amazing ... a phone call came through with 3 different caller ID no. simultaneously. The above number plus 0431 626 250 and (02) 9071 0272 (this no. has been reported as an attempt from scammer).
I presume it is attempted scam call. proceeded to block all 3 numbers.
