Caller: Claimed to be from NBN Caller told me they wanted to upgrade my NBN internet speed - asked me to run a speed test on my laptop ... I told them they were trying to scam me and asked him for his name ... He said his name was Alex Wilson ... very strange name for someone with a very heavy Indian accent ! Told him he wanted to steal my money and then he hung up on me ! This is a SCAM .

Caller: Robocall Said was calling from Amazon and I just hung up. I assume that it would have said something alarming about "my account" and asked me to press '1' to speak with someone.
If only legitimate phone systems had an option to just press one number to speak with an actual person...

The old "we can see that an unauthorised, suspicious transaction has occurred on your credit card". Said they were from the Visa & Mastercard Security. Called my work number & knew my name. Promptly hung up when I said I'd call my bank directly. Gosh, this is getting tiring.

Caller: Allegedly Telstra Male called said he was from Telstra then said I had been experiencing slow internet as a result of hacking attempts. I suggested Telstra should make their services more attack resistant. He said he was calling to help me access and configure my modem to prevent hacking. I asked for his employee number and name: Darren Bet TAL1002051062. I suggest no such person exists.
