Scam about credit cards

called and confirmed business name, asked if i accepted credit card and then amex. has anyone had any money taken?

Same thing, called asking for a friend about whether we take credit card and in particular American Express. What do they hope to gain from this question? Am I missing something?

Called asking if my business accepts credit card, called my personal number that’s not listed publicly in association with my business. I asked what it was exactly they wanted to buy and he stated it was for his dad and his dad wants to book an appointment. Definitely a scammer, only way they could have known this number was associated with my business is through one of the data leaks. Keeps calling back trying to trick me, number blocked.

Said her name was Sarah Hardman, calling for her mum Rebecca Hardman. Wanted to know if we take credit card payment, specifically AMEX. Sounded dodgy from the beginning and she couldn't provide answers to follow up questions.

English lady called asked if we accept credit card for payment for her dad, them asked if we accept Amex..said yes to both. She said thanks and hung up...weird!!

Caller: A man named “Scott”. English accent, mentioned my business

Mentioned my business name, and asked if I accept AMEX. Could be fishing for voice.

ASked of we accepted CC when I said yes she said "all I have is AMEX told her we don't accept Amex. Weird....

Called to see if we accept credit cards. Asked if we took AMEX. Said Thanks & hung up. Sounded like a young English sounding lady.

phone call asking if we accepted credit cards, told them visa + mastercard they asked about american express told them no they hung up, probably just another scammer trying to take our hard earned money they need to get a job and be a decent human

Persistent harassment. Should be investigated.

I have the same issue, however he's using other number (02) 7201 8396. Its harassment.

I have the same issue here but this scum bag is using another number (02) 7201 8396. Calls basically 2 to 3 times. Lucky i have auto reject on my phone.

Called and didn't go for a full ring

The same to me.

Answered the call and they hung up as soon as I said hello.
