Just got the same call claiming my tax id has been suspended and I need to take action to avoid being arrested.

Call was to a business mobile and I answered with a business response and the phone hung up. Probably the same ato scam but only targeting individuals.

Received 2 calls today to say my TFN had been suspended and I would be arrested. Just hang up.

Received call today, I didn't answer as I wasn't familiar with number. Came on this site and voila, a scam. Will now block the number.

Same as the poster on nov 25th 2020, except i received the same call today. He was posing as an ATO officer under an alias Kevin something, couldn't really hear as I was out. He was really upset and kept repeating himself when I insisted he tell me why there's an arrest warrant out for me and that it was a matter of the federal court. Definitely a scam since I know my tax affairs are all in order.

Automated message advising of being reported and filing a case against me. I knew immediately it was a scam, so I pressed 1 and told the operator who spoke with a foreign accent to stop calling me and that I knew the phone call was a scam. Then I blocked the number.
