I was informed there was a matter to do with my TFN and there was an arrest warrant in my name. Press 1 to discuss. I did as I was curious. I asked who the person was and they hung up. Obviously a scam as I’m retired and I don’t pay tax any more. Plus I have an accountant who would tell me pretty quickly if I had a tax issue.

ATO Tax scammer. Do not trust. Do not answer.

I picked up and they hanged up straight away, no idea what it was about, but can see here its various scams

Didn't answer call. Thanks for previous comments posted here which indicates the number is being used by a scammer.

Same deal. Tax scam. Arrest warrant etc. I actually have it recorded. Will keep if it's needed by anyone.

When I answered other side was slow to acknowledge, so from experience that smells of a scam. Blocked caller

He wanted to scam me with cryptocurrencies.

Called and leaves no message. Call back using No caller ID and received a recorded message saying that the number is suspended due to fraudulent activity - repeated in various languages. However they were still calling me!
