They left a voicemail stating they have raised a criminal case against me concerning tax evasion & tax fraud.

2 calls received identical just deleted them

Left a message on my home phone. Left a badge No. saying that they have registered a criminal case against my name for tax evasion and tax fraud. Absolute rubbish. When I called back they wanted my home phone number and when I asked why they wanted that for a tax matter - he said he was too busy to talk to me.

Says they are from Taxation Dep and a launching court action against me. Told them where to go and he has since rung back twice. Last time told me I was an F'n bitch and that they will call back every day

just had a missed call, no voicemail after reading comments have blocked number

Report them to ScamWatch. Also Prank phone call them put them off guard so the next people calling them don't get hooked.

Called by a person claiming to be from the ATO. Message left saying an arrest warrant will been issued for tax fraud and the police will be called unless I call back on (02) 6064 2036.

Later same day called by another person claiming same as first caller and left message saying to call back on (02) 6064 2035.

Go0od luck with that bitch... FU

left message on message bank saying " right if you want any further information on your case file to call back asap to the ATO hotline number on (02) 6064 2036 if no call from your side be prepared to face the legal consequences as the issue at hand is extremely serious and time sensitive have a blessed day."
Strange voice cross between aussie slang and ????

Received call (foriegn accent) on voicemail claiming to be Tax Dept and that they were about to issue court proceedings against me for tax evasion and to contact the number provided if I wanted to address this matter beforehand. Threatened that if I didn't return the call they would proceed with the court order .... obviously a scam so I ignored. Why can't the relevant government agency (ies) track & trace these calls and shut them down as some people are easily duped!!??

Just received 5 voicemails exactly the same as above comments stating tax fraud case ..disgusting my children heard those messages ! What can be done here !

This is nothing more than an scam, these people need go back to there country of there origin.......................

Just had a message left from this number saying there was a criminal case against for for tax evasion.

They rang my mum and said she owed taxes. Bogus call trying to get money out of people.

Sounds like the same caller that Annie had. Claimed to be from Australian Tax Office. Left a voice message and quoted a ref No as though that was his Tax office ID. He (Indian? with American type accent) saying words to the effect 'there is a criminal case against me for tax evasion'. Repeated the phone number twice and added words to the effect that if I don't return his call, I will face the legal consequences. Sounds very intimidating…. scumbags. BEWARE South Australia.

I received the same call today, left on answering machine which I ignored, considering I'm a pensioner I'd hardly be frauding the Tax dept. Don't answer phone unless I know who it is so they will never get to speak to me, just as well it seems.
