Second call today from Canberra number, first had a very similar number to this. No message left, no answer when i call the number back. Yet another scam call.

This number along with a whole stack of other 02 5133 52.. keep ringing and never leave a message. They are a so called "charity" that just simply passes your phone number onto other charities so that those other charities can call you???? This charity which is either "kindness survey or Charity survey" are both based out of the philippines. DO NOT ANSWER OR RING THESE NUMBERS BACK as they will just continually harrass you.

Utterly mindlessly relentless harassment. I was driven to blocking calls from (02) numbers but they continue to try to call (preferable to actually scamming people). In addition to this number and a series of (03) numbers that they used previously, and although I've never once answered the phone, I've recently had attempted calls from (02) 5133 5232, 5236, 5237 and 5243. Please never answer calls from unknown numbers - especially these.

The business model of these parasites is to "conduct charity calls on behalf of various Non-Profit organizations". In other words they are set up to hound people with unsolicited phone calls. There is an "Opt-out" form on their website but it makes no difference, they still phone again and again and again. Please report them to ASIC. If they get enough complains maybe they will actually do something.

(02) 5133 5239 + numerous similarly sequenced 'phone numbers multiple times DAILY .... ON MY PRIVATE/UNLISTED 'PHONE NO. (40+ YEARS) !!!!!!!!

Why is there not some LEGAL avenue to prosecute these GRUBS, thus ending these NUISANCE calls??????

I've been forced to implement my 'DO NOT DISTURB' ... CONSTANTLY .... in order for PEACE!!!!

This organisation continually change the number they call from, I have requested on numerous occasions to be removed from their call list but still they call incessantly up to 4 times per day all with slight variation on the number.

After a bit of preamble, this calling lady puts the bite on me for a donation. I'm a reasonable person but paying by Direct Debit is just too risky in this day and age and I doubt she is genuine.

Thank you to the other people who have commented - has been helpful in understanding what's going on. Phone calls twice a day from this number and the variations (02) 5133 52** . No messages left. Have also tried to block all the variations of the number, but no luck yet. Becoming VERY annoying. Intrusive.

They will not stop this utterly rabid harassment. I have never answered, I have blocked all calls from (02) numbers, but they try to call every single day from a series of numbers: 5232, 5234, 5236, 5237, 5239 and 5234. There must surely be something that can be done in 2023 to put a stop to it. I have reported it several times to Scamwatch. Perhaps if every victim reports it they will take effective action.

Same, 7 variations of the 02.5133.52__ number so far, calling at least once a day. I never answer scan looking numbers so don't know who it is, but trust the donation idea is right, or scammers, pretending to be a charity... ?

Yet another call lost in the numerous scammers who clog up my phone. Do they want us to get rid of land lines? Wouldn't make any difference anyway as they harass us on mobiles too. When will the government or phone company stop these harassing scammers? Unfortunately there might be legitimate callers on my landline phone that I now never answer.
