Called my elderly father to set up a trading account. When he told the caller. No in not interested the called argued with him. My dad said no about 3 or 4 times. Before saying good bye and hanging up on them. The caller then called 3 more times. To continue arguing and harassing my father. Would not trust this company one bit came across as a scam.

Started to receive calls from 02 5133 52xx since last week, about once per day. Don't answer, no message - number comes up as ACT

Over the last week I've had 5 calls from numbers in the same sequence - (02) 5133 52XX. This one - 5238, and also 5236, 5229, 5235, and 5232. There's no way that this is a legitimate call if they are cycling through all of these numbers. I haven't answered any, and none of them have left messages. I'm hoping that eventually they'll get the hint and stop calling . . .

Called and hung up, no message left.

Yet another call from this bunch of scamming lowlifes. Normally I just don’t answer and block but this time I did and left them in no doubt about what I thought of them. I’m sure they won’t stop but at least it made me feel a bit better. Don’t answer any call with the first 8 digits of 02 5133 52??

Caller said they were conducting a survey - they had all my personal details, and were asking questions about sick kids, starving children blah blah blah. I could see where this was leading, so terminated the call. Could barely understand a word they were saying. Since that call, I have been called by numerous charities saying I registered an interest in sick kids. The calls have been relentless, and since they keep calling my business mobile, its difficult to discren genuine callers vs charities. I like to give to charity via one off events, like supporting a friend in a charity event, but not through subscriptions. If you get the survey call, just tell them you are not interested and tell them not to call back.

I get the same number call me on my old phone number all the time which i will not answer they either need to stop freaken calling or blocking the f**ken number

These scamming scum will not stop. I blocked all (02) calls weeks ago - they aren't local - but still this lot refuse to give up. I've now had attempted calls from (02) 5232, 5236, 5237, 5238, 5239 and 5243. At least I don't hear the phone but the moronic harassment still enrages me.
Please do not answer calls from unknown numbers. Ever. Intercept or reply to the message if it's a legitimate call. If not, we should be trying to put these lowlifes out of business, otherwise this will never stop.
The numbers have been reported to Scam Watch, but no one seems able to take effective action.

Caller: Softly spoken woman

Female (unknown to me) wanted to talk about hardship in the community. Well I said "I can talk about hardship because I'm suffering financial ruin". I hung up on her.

Receiving multiple calls daily from 02 5133 5xxx numbers. Phone IDs as spam and blocks call but it's tedious. Data breaches def have a lot to answer for - suddenly receiving calls from multiple numbers. Don't answer them!

I get at least one call, if not two or three calls, from these numbers every day. My phone tells me the number that is calling, and I only answer the phone when I recognise the number.
As well, I think you will find that this number sequence is not ACT, which is 0261.... 0251 is not a known number sequence for NSW.

Echoing the other posters on here. Continually getting calls from numbers in this series (5133 52XX). No message left. My Samsung automatically flags these calls as 'Suspected Spam'.

Keeps ringing me but never leaves message, scam for sure.

0251335...238, 245, 240, 246. Constant calls 4 x in one morning. No message. My phone blocks them but I receive notification of their efforts. Persistent pests. Sorry to hear how they harrassed your dad.

Calls from many ACT numbers and when blocked number get calls from a different number with same prefix, don’t know anyone in Canberra but get about 3 or 4 calls a day. Scam
