Matthew Rixon has no fixed address. The address posted on this site is incoreect and the identity of the person posting this information is currently under investigation with the NSW Police Force

There is a comment earlier on this page identifying an address of 7 Turnbull Street, Merewether as being Rixon's address. THAT IS NOT HIS ADDRESS. It is the address of a client of mine on whose behalf I have been pursuing this fraudster for several years. Like so many other criminals, Mr Rixon does not want you to know where he lives so I guess you will not find his true address on this site.

He uses addresses of his victim's in which the previous owner of this dwelling was, the Police Fraud Squad have been contacted regarding this and the posts made on this site

He is in Canberra most of the time. He isn’t hard to find, he still doesn’t understand that he’s done anything wrong.
He still thinks he’s 20 so look in town were the 20 year olds drink (uni Bars) that’s where I seen him last week end. He loves a blond.

To answer the question on how much to fine a lying, thieving, predatory bankrupt who doesn't pay his fines and continues to lie and steal - $72,000.

Based on the magistrate's words, once Matt bothered to show up to court and change his plea from 'not guilty', his deal with prosecutors meant that jail time wasn't an option. So folks, if your dealings with him have been criminal, talk to the Newcastle police or NSW Fair Trading and see if you can't be the one to help out.

His current girlfriend lives in Greyspoint nsw, if he doesn't answer his phone try 0418 403 062 that is the girlfriends mum's phone her name is camille she will know his where about.

I'm told that it won't matter how much they fine him. As he is bankrupt the fines go into his bankruptcy and he won't pay a cent! And there is no criminal charge so he won't do jail time. Looks like he gets away Scott free

How do you know he is on fraud charges? I heard these where all dropped and he can only get fines to pay. He is Canberra too

Dunno where he is now coz he moves around/runs away a lot. Media says currently in Sydney in Caringbah.

But you could expect him to be at Newcastle courts on 8th and 18th March, and at ACT magistrates on 22nd and 28th March.

This will hopefully be a big month for Matthew Rixon/Matthew Geoffrey the builder/fencer/police officer, with loads happening on both his ACT and NSW charges.

Sentencing and other activities in Newcastle across 28th Feb - 8 March, ACT hearings from 22nd-28th March.

Hopefully the court ignores his list of lies that he believes himself, but you should be able to read about it in the Newcastle Herald, Canberra Times, and on the ABC website. Like Matt says though, it's all a media beat-up and he hasn't done anything.

Kinda funny really, as 'not doing anything' was really the problem in the first place...

Thanks for your words of wisdon, as a single mother I have paid over $30k to lawyers to recoup the $102k owing to me from Rixon. Other creditors are companies who have recouped monies lost from their insurances. Surely there is someone out there who can assist us? Please!

United, I'd be surprised if there is any money there, as Dodgy Matt probably steals from one source to pay off another. A love of the casino also probably means there isn't much of anything left. He's just a thief, but has pretended to be a builder to do it. A united front of the companies he owes money too might get somewhere, as tghey can afford better lawyers than you and me. May the Courts be with us...

I am concerned about the former employees who knew what Rixon was up to and didnt do/ say anything shouldnt they too be held accountable?'Good heart' the guy doesnt have one! I strongly believe its time all of us who have been 'ripped off' form a united front and demand our money back, he claims he is bankrupt but continues to live the high life on our money...justice will only be served when our money is returned....he may serve jail time but then what return to our community and continue his deceit and increase his debts. Our so called Laws have a lot to answer for...destroys innocent lives and protects the criminal!
