It seems like he's done a lot of bad things to people but you all have to understand that now he's fixing all of his problems.
I found out that he is engaged and living in Newcastle.

Thanks for the clarification John, and best of luck with your chase for your client. The law only serves as a deterrent for people who have something to lose, and Matt Rixon has little to lose other than his freedom.

As for the comments below about NSW Police/Fraud Squad investigating - There's a good chance the Police have already been contacted by many of the posters to this page. Most seem to be normal people who have been exploited by Rixon's psychopathic behaviour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopathy) and who are waiting and hoping that the legal system will perform against a repeat offender who -just doesn't care- about anything other than himself.

The fact is, like the 'my wife was sick' excuse, Rixon has used the 'Police are investigating' lie before. He uses it when he needs something bigger than 'the bank transfer bounced' to buy him some time, and ties it to some fairytale about how he himself has been stolen from, by his business partner, another company director, his accounts girl... you get the idea. Anything to steal another day.

So if genuine, and Police actually have the time and inclination to investigate some cranky posts about a crook who thinks people he rips off are 'grubs', then seriously, all power and support to them. In the meantime you'd have to consider those posts as potentially being yet another smokescreen from Rixon who doesn't like people telling the truth about him. Either way, this site links the ongoing and appalling behaviour of the con man Matthew Rixon/Matthew Geoffrey with the RIXCO phone number and label, numerous media reports and the anger of honest people.
