Hung on long enough to transfer from landline to mobile but left no message. Earlier posts confirm pest status.

Doubtful message re amazon payment to Mastercard.
Don't have an Amazon Account.

recorded message claiming to be from visa/mastercard security.

He knew my name then asked whether I'd followed up on a letter they'd sent me 4 months earlier. Told him no, he said it may have been lost in the mail etc, I told him I wasn't even here (which was the truth.) He then hung up...

Be careful. Someone may ask for a persons name. Do not answer them. They will then hang up and ring back hours later. Again, Do not speak to them. Scam number

Hung up as soon as my answering m/c kicked in. Tried to ring this number back - always "engaged". GOT TO BE DODGY!!

Never answer the phone people,just let it ring and then ring star 10 hash to see if it is
legit.They only ring because people pick up the phone.No one answer phone,no more problem.As it is now phone is only highway to Criminals!
