Caller: Looks like it's Origin So looks like it's Origin Energy calling. I was recently offered a better offer from another energy provider so I asked via email Origin for their best offer and was told I was on their best offer which was more expensive than the competition and was basically also told me I could leave if I wanted too, so I did and took up the offer from the other provider. Now looks like they've trying to get me back....too little too late

Caller: Origin Energy Retentions Team Whenever I leave some Origin service there is always a call after a couple of weeks begging me to come back. This is that call. They offer pretty good pricing and are flexible on incentives, which mostly does work to get me back, but they should really offer these prices to their customers before they leave.

Caller: Origin Origin trying to win my business back with a cheaper rate offer. Too bad they didn't act when I first called them for a better rate - they just told me I was on the only rate available to me.

From this look up service now realize it is Origin Energy. no message left. Have just left Origin last week because on contract renewal they offered me a new rate 26% higher than prior! If they had a better rate they should have told me. They try these high increases hoping people fall for it whereas most people will shop around. Now with AGL on seniors rate

Caller: I found out it was Origin when I googled the number. After Origin stuffed us around for 6 months, all we were asking for was to have our hot water system heated twice a day. After waiting and waiting without any correspondence from Origin I did the contacting. 16 working days it will be actioned. That lapsed. So I call again. 20 working days. Again it lapsed. Then I was told that WE will have to contact a qualified contractor to have things done. That was it, we were done with them. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ORIGIN TO ANYONE!! They repeatedly keep calling me each day as I ignore it. Today once again the call came, and lucky me I got an email. ‘Hi, we want to talk about your accounts’ I sent an email back, told them what for and warned them that if they call me again I will yell I will swear and if pushed I will blow a coaches whistle down the phone into their head set. Don’t take Origin to long to respond ‘you will not receive any calls from our retention team’

This number is a scam. They're not Origin, despite other posts telling us they are. Do not leave a voice imprint with these people in these days of rabidly increasing AI.

Caller: Orgin Recently changed electricity suppliers from Orgin to another supplier. They changed the fees and solar feed-in tariff without consultation. Now I've moved call me, plus emails and sms contacts. They now say I'm a valued customer. I'm not buying it. I did this reverse call back to find out this number that came up as a possible scam call. I hope this helps others.

Caller: Origin Energy Didn't recognise number, so ignored. After anon number look up, discovered it's Origin. There was a scheduled call back for 11am yesterday to discuss/finalise alternative energy plan - Didn't happen! Couldn't answer call today (as was sick in bed) and disappointed no message was left. The deal with SA Gov for concession card holders , with Origin, is better than Origin's own plans but pretty close is Red Energy.
Have done a lot of research (incl. Alinta, AGL, Engie and many others) and when it comes down to each the FiT is becoming a joke after significant investment.
