Very annoyed to discover this unidentified number from Newcastle is a legitimate number from Origin Energy, and they didn't leavce a message - idiots. So now I've wasted time checking the number. If they had left a voice mailmessage I would have called them back. And they wonder why I've just left them! Grrrr.

Same, I just had a missed call from them too with no message left. Funny how they're calling me now when I've switched providers but didn't call me when they kept upping fees and lowering the solar feed in tariff!

Origin is trying to win me back after more than 20 years as a customer. I switched providers recently and now save $100–$200 a month on my power bills. Since then, they’ve been calling once or twice a day, trying to get me back. I just ignore it. They’re happy to offer all the bells and whistles to new customers, but ignore the ones who’ve been loyal for decades. Too late now, and they’re just wasting money calling me every day.

Can't be bothered to look after you when you are a customer. After lots of drama and hassle dealing with their useless customer service, changed providers who have offered better rates etc and now Origin want to reach out.... ah nah... should have done better when I was a customer rather than scrambling to recover lost customers!!!!

I confirmed today that (02) 4063 1015 is a legitimate number for Origin Energy.
I had a call from this number offering me a discount on my gas account and NBN connection. I told them to call later and called Origin to confirm. Origin staff told me the details of the offers made to me and were able to confirm that the offers made to me were legitimate.

Definite some sort of con!! Ignore then block

Just called but no message . I recently left Origin for another electricity provider so sounds like it might be the marketing people calling. A bit pointless calling weeks after i moved providers- explains why i don't like Origin. Why didn't they call in the cooling off period and try to convince me to stay! I do sometimes wonder if marketing people have any common sense and what do they think they achieve by calling and not leaving a message .

Got a call and missed it, left a msg on msg bank, said it was origin. I rang as I had dealings with origin before, it went like origin calling right to the T. WORD FOR WORD. SHE WAS ENGLISH, FELLA WHO ANSWERED WAS FOREIGN, AS MY HEARING WAS NOT GOOD ASKED FOR AN ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON. HE SAID I UNDERSTAND YOU, YES SHONKY AS, I PUT THE RECEIVER DOWN. LUCKY HE IS SITTING DOWN AS I AM SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THIS B/S. I HAVE BEEN HACKED THIS YEAR AND SO MUCH DEALING WITH BANKS, TELSTRA ETC. HE SOUNDED INDIAN. HIS BALLS WILL BE CUT IF I GET HOLD OF HIM, HE WILL NEVER SIT DOWN AGAIN.

Received several unsolicited calls from this number. Messages left saying from Origin Energy. I called Origin Energy direct but they didn't confirm. Can only assume a scam

They called me but did not leave a voicemail. Called the number back, and it is Origin. I waited on hold for over 20 minutes, only to be told by the lady that she was not sure what they were calling about. I switched to Red Energy after the criminal price increases, so I am assuming that is what they were calling about lol.

May i ask which supplier you switched to, that is, to save money?

Rang twice, no voicemail left. I am certain this is Origin based on other posts, as I just put in a request to switch to another provider. First time they've called out-of-the-blue in 15 years of having Origin :P
