Similar experience to others: A friend accidentally sent a text message to my landline and it got converted to a voice message. (I didn't know that was possible.) That seemed to trigger the persistent calls from 0198339100 -- many of them, continuing! #$%!&%

Caller: Automated SMS

Voice said something about a competition and was told to leave my competition entry in a raffle box or something, but I hung up after this, the called back 4 within a matter of about 20m.

I've not blocked this number.

0198339100 - nuisance, pest, scammer, who knows? Called about 10 times - it's now 11:25pm and I wonder if this will continue into the night? Why does Telstra allow these creatures to use their carriage service in this way? If anyone can control it Telstra should be able to. Pressing the "ignore" button doesn't help. Must be controlled by a robot.

Caller: 198339100 - apparently Telstra SMS....to a land line???

Ditto....these calls started after a visit from the Telstra technician and now they come in every hour or so...all day long. Most annoying.
Cant Telstra stop it?????

They have called numerous times to my landline which is a silent number, so don't know how they got it ??? I didn't answer just let it ring out it hang up when it was repeated 15mins later

Rang every 15 minutes all afternoon. ;last rang 3.00am morning. How can I stop them ringing

This number rang every 15 minutes starting at about 5.pm my last call was at 3.00am.then started again at 11.30am. I cannot block this caller because I have an older phone but would like to know how I can stop them.These calls are to my landline.

They just tested my automatic scammer diversion to answering machine and found that it works perfectly :)

This is the Telstra landline messaging service. i just listened to the SMS then deleted it.

Voice stated there was a Voice SMS and automated voice stated "Sorry I cannot talk now"

Rang at 11.30pm on the 26/04/2018 it is a scam maybe electronic call coming in from overseas 0198339100 do NOT ANSWER this number.

They have called the business I work at twice in the past two days.

The first time was immediately after I called a client and they didn't answer. The message was some kind of URL for google maps.

The second time was a message from a number I didn't recognize saying "Sorry, can't talk now."

said we owed money to tax..lol ! now its disconnected ?

They called 11 times yesterday and it just started again. I've blocked this number but they still don't get it!

This number has called my home continually this morning till I left for work. I haven't answered it. Thank you Reverse I checked with you first.

Another hang up

This number rang 4 times within an hour to my landline. Each time I answered it was a voice to text call from a mobile number even though it shows the 019 number on my landline. The message it leaves is from someone (gave name) telling me about someones cancer surgery coming up. I texted to the mobile number given in call but the messages kept coming through.

Listed as 0198339100 on Caller ID. Message was just that a Text message could not be interpreted.
