HUGE SCAM - DO NOT OFFER ANY DETAILS. Max Benefit Solutions first asks you to complete a survey. Then it's followed by continuous harassment of ringing you 3 - 4 times a week, every week for 10 months and still continuing. They are like annoying flies that you cannot shoo away, so my strong advice is to hang up immediately. They have annoyed me to the point whereby I am now fearful of picking up the phone. I encourage everyone to take action against them - to have them reported to appropriate government agencies so hopefully the scam will cease to exist. Tip: you can tell who they are immediately via their Indian accent

They keep calling saying do you remember you gave us all your details about 5 years ago. I said no. They hang up. This time I Let them keep talking about tax benifits to me and using my accountant etc. Then I asked for the name and number of the company and said I will ring back. I ring back and it is a disconnectied number/ . 2 hours later a lady rings me again and I said I rang you back and the number was disconnected and I said your not calling from south Melbourne, your from overseas and she says yes. I told her it was a scam and to stop calling me. When I asked are you a government agency they say oh they gave us permisson to contact you about your tax. All bullsh*t.

Telemarketing from a non-existent company (Max Benefits Solutions in South Melbourne) selling a scam. Kept calling and hanging up. When they did get through, I got a spiel about tax savings but as soon as I asked for their web site, the caller hung up.

Got the (03) 9951 0922 from this page and called it. Answered by "Paul" from Max Benefits Solutions, so it proves the link. Strangely, when I called back to spam him, but with my caller ID hidden, he doesn't answer.

I put a ban on all incoming overseas calls to my landline - as no one overseas would call my home phone anyway that I knew. If someone I knew needed me overseas, they could SMS, call my mobile, email or Skype anyway.

If you don't think you need to receive incoming overseas calls (as you can still call out overseas), then call your phone carrier and ask for a blockage on all overseas incoming calls.

They are calling from overseas, not in Australia, so the Do Not Call register does not help, as it is only for overseas businesses.

Hope this helps. Have not received any calls since.

Just had a call from these guys claiming my husband did a survey, wanted to come out, I said no, I'd do some research first on the company, i asked for the website for Max Solutions and she gave me Optima. I said I'd do some research first and if I was interested I'd all back, she wasn't too pleased!

I have been getting phone calls nearly every night. Tonights one they knew mine & my husband's name, our occupations and that was as far as I got. I told her I was googling the company and that it appeared to be a scam. I told her she sounded like a decent human being and that I thought her company that she worked for was scamming her. When I asked her what the company address she hung up.

I wish these people would just leave me alone. I don't know what it will take to stop them calling. Very frustrating.

Just had a call from these guys asking for me having rung my wife's mobile number. Caller ID said the call was from Samoa but they said they were based in South Melbourne. They wanted to deliver some financial advice in person, no obligation no cost yeah right. they hung up when I said I didn't want to speak to them any more.

I have been getting calls from this company for what seems like years. They go away for a bit & then come back. I cannot get rid of them. Just got a call few minutes ago & called it back, number is disconnected. No typo, I used mobile memory..disconnected....The numbers are different all the time. They have my home phone & mobile now (never gave them my mobile!) Some of the information they have was accurate but a decade ago. I would love to know how we can stop them. Its driving me crazy & worries me that they have personal details.

Got a call from a private number claiming to be from Max solutions. She said I did a survey and all. Was told they are providing information and I can check with my accountant. I told them I already did and she goes it's not in the market and all. I politely said I'll give it a miss. She went silent and hung up. Not sure if they would call me back but it's a scam for sure.

Just had a call from an unknown number from Max Benefits Solutions in South Melbourne. They said they are following up on a survey I had completed which I do not remember doing. I have a silent number as well. They knew my name, my wifes name, my subhurb, my home value etc and wanted to come out and meet. Sounded somewhat legit but as he was talking I googled them and found this website. grrrrrrr

Just got off the phone with these gits. Kept going on about 'this information' recently being released by the government. Spoke of survey also.....never did one.
Kept wanting to make a time to come to my home to give me this information. He said we just give you the information, dont need to sign anything and i can take it to my accountant.
Asked if this was about selling investment property..did not answer.
Made a bogus time after which was put through to a michael. Aussie/Indian accent who wanted to confirm all my details..."and you are single" for the fourth time....
Just another scam
