Beware! 1902 228 173 and 1300 658 951. We too have been struck by an oxygen thief, This was for $98.55 for a 23 min call November last year, questioned the family and quess what, no one made any calls, just rec'd bill from Telstra 1 week ago. Contacted my provider and they advised that all 1900 numbers are exclusive to Telstra, 1300 numbers, some are Telstra, my provider confirmed that we did not make any of these call on that day and so I contacted Telstra and they questioned the account number as it did not match up to home service numbers, directed to fraud dept, advised that we did make this call which was rubbish as we use our mobiles for most of our calls. Telstra insisted that we have to pay!, what a waste of time and thats why i dumped Telstra over 12 years ago!!!! because they did not give a s*** about any questions to charges, pay it or else!!! They told me to go back to my provider and have them do a report on the numbers, but these belong to this usless garbage company in the first place. It is all a scam and Telstra is as guilty as sin for ripping off customers and supporting these criminal acts.

I rang this number because I had won a Coles gift certificate. The notice came in my email. It was just a scam, I wish I had hung up sooner than I did! Another lesson learned!

The above number is a scam. It came in an email to me with the offer from Coles to win products/money.
It proports to come from COLES, but Coles 1800 061 562) knows nothing of this email and competition.
Can you please find who uses this number and I will take it further.

I am also trying to track down a call supposedly from my land line to 1902 255 988 for a 30 min call costing $118.28

A call for this number suddenly appeared on my landline bill, $96 for one 26 min call. The phone company can't tell me who it is except that it's listed as Trivia and the number appears as 1902 255 988 but also lists 1300 658 951.

Another number to be aware of is 1902 268 800 another comp scam!

My son who is on disability support pension was charged $151.53, thinking that he was participating in a free competition. At no stage was he told that he will be charged for participitang, and he didn't receive the invoice for 79 days. Viragos

My wife was on this number thinking that it was a free competition, 27 minutes cost us $107, before she got sick of answering endless trivia questions. VERY PISSED OFF!

I was sucked into playing a supermarket 'competition' for store credit - I think it was for Coles. I hung up because it was taking too long but was still charged $20 + for the call. I believe it is a scam

I have just found this no. on my a/c 1902 255 012, telstra can't seem to tell me where it came from, what do I do.

Yes I incurred a similar problem on my mobile, where I was charged over my usage on my plan, in excess of $50. The other thing is this number also comes up as a game called Brain Enhanser, also a bogus. Getting this number blocked from my ph. I recommend everyone to do the same and be aware of future so called "You have won" statements.

Yes...I agree with Maree. email from coles re products...asking questions for competition.cost me ~ $120 phone bill on 20/12/2014...but email now deleted.
