Just received a text message to my mobile saying
"#Payment-Alert: You've paid A$1299.99 at PayPaI*INC to Intellect Co. ltd. TXN#401XVR15w4Xe on 2021/10/06, If any Dispute, Dial us: (+61)1800-861416 Thank you." Check paypal account and no such transaction made. HOAX

Got a payment alert text message to call 1800 861 416 saying I paid $1299 in to Intellect Co....I did not - this is a spam

Received SMS about $2500 charged via Paypal and to call the 1800 if I believe this to be fraudulent and to STOP it.

Received a thoroughly dodgy SMS:
