Caller: Scammer claiming to be Telstra Tech Dept

Multiple calls over several months. Told them to stop calling.
Usual patter about computer, internet connection blah blah nonsense.
Got his ID - fake of course!
And phone no. Scam!
Hung up quickly when told checking no.

Same as the other comments. Claimed he was from Telstra. Said he could give his employee I’d number (so can I. It is 999). I told him he had accessed a Police Computer which it isn’t. He was not bothered by this. A scam.

I have received at least 20 calls over the last few months all claiming to be from Telstra technical department advising my IP address has been hacked. They want me to log onto my computer so they can walk me through how to correct it. I asked for a number to call them back on and they gave me the number to the Exhibition St Telstra store. I believe this is a scam.

Claimed to be from Telstra.
Wanted me to check EVENTVWR.
Quoted CLSID Number {888DCA60-FC0A-11CF-8F0F-00C04FD7D062} common to all the latest Windows Operating Systems.
