Caller: phone number provided in a fraudulent email request for payment.

This number was provided in a scam email asking for confirmation of my personal details in relation to claiming I had purchased a Norton 360 computer protections software subscription. Phone number is active but when I challenged the operator the phone call was disconnected. I suspect it was an attempt to obtain my personal details and confirm payment of a fraudulent subscription payment.

Norton subscription scam, like the phone number the email address it comes from 'messaging-service @ post.xero.com' is not Norton

Received email claiming to be for a $499 Norton payment that was already taken from my account. I checked my account and no payment has been made - I don’t even have Norton. This phone number was included in the email - the scam must occur if you call them back - so don’t. Telstra needs to report and deactivate this number!
