Definitely a scam number. They pretend to work for Microsoft Support and ask for details such as your full name, email address, how many people use your computer and if you use the computer for online banking which makes it very suspicious.
They'll ask you to download a remote access program such as www.logmein123.com to remotely control your computer to then show you a list of how many viruses, etc. your computer has. With this information they will try to persuade you that they can use Microsoft tools to delete all harmful files. However, only if you agree to make a one-time payment of roughly 150.99USD. If you decline, they will lower the price making it obvious that it is a scam. The operator, which is a person, will speak impolitely and attempt to intimidate you with remarks such as "it's up to you, I won't lose anything, but you will" or "you can make the payment or keep letting foreign users hack your computer".
Also, if you call 1800 508 252, they won't answer with a company name such as Microsoft, etc. but the operator will state they are with Microsoft.
