Defiantly say no and ring your own bank double check last transaction. they go far as to even ask for your medicare card!! not even the bank would ask for this so don't. they get huffy at you I got told to 'SHUT UP and JUST LISTEN' when I said if your my bank you can read me my licence No and I'll tell you if your right and hung up on them they will keep trying. you will have to get your computer anything using you IP address tablet mobile I even been suggested change mobile number as now there is a target on me!! who nows how many viruses are now eating up my things how many back door virisus some of the vires names are TheW3C markup validation Sinch Rebtel verification. honestly if you get a pop up on your computer look up the contact number on another device first. they say from Sydney 400 George or Johnston st. don't give out anything even if they have your numbers ring the bank and have them replaced and change your passwords.. ask them for their number and address they won't stay on the ph much longer but they will keep ringing

I had a pop up on my laptop to say my screen was frozen and I should call 1800 328 960 to unfreeze my screen I did this and got an Indian gentleman who tried to get me to Windows + R which probably would have given him remote access I hung up After that I received about 8 calls with no caller ID and another (03) 9013 4197 call also nominate here as a nuisance call, I then received a mobile # call but they didn’t leave a message…. BE VERY CAREFUL

Caller: Did not call message came up on computer

My Computer was blocked and could not perform any tasks, a Windows site was at the back ground stating i had been hacked and to call Microsoft support immediately on 1800 328 960 spoke to a Indian person and he asked access to my computer. Fortunately I could not access any thing and decided to call Microsoft but could not get through to them, then tried our support person and they checked all my systems and found it was a HOAX, no issue with computer or any trace of ransomware , just switch computer off and wait a few minutes and then all should be good.. They are not from Microsoft.
