This is a number given by a SCAM proporting to be from Microsoft - IT IS NOT Microsoft hang up. Microsoft NEVER call customers advising them their PC will be taken off line unless they complete some tasks

Caller: My Windows 10 pro PC PC froze with voice and screen message stating PC was infected with a TROJAN - "do not shut down - call 1800 267 785" or "1300 709 266". No virus detected by NORTON 360. Tried number - got 'France' then 'UK' - very unclear reception - Shut down PC & restarted - Two NORTON scans found nothing. No damage apparent to PC.

This number is legitimate. A Microsoft tech gave me this number to get further info on an issue I had.
