Caller: Not RACV

Same as others. Sounded suss as. Callers voice message was smooth as butter. Called racv back on the websites number (not the one mentioned by the caller) and they said they had not heard about my refund. Googled the number and this page came up. Called racv back and they wrote the number down. Hopefully no older members get duped but am concerned about privacy breach now.

Caller: Letter claiming to be RACV

Same as 15 and 25 Jan comments. Received letter at old address asking for details to consolidate my RACV accounts. I've never had an RACV account. The 1300 number is listed as the one to call.

Caller: RACV

Called RACV main number. they confirmed it is their number and legitimate

SMS saying that I had a years membership benefits refund owed. Quoted 1300 940 177 to call back on. I have had RACV membership but over 5 years ago and any refund due to me was refunded already.

Caller: SMS claiming to be from RACV

Same as previous post - letter re membership returned as no longer at the address on record....Want me to call back. Have no current RACV membership.

Caller: Was a SMS Claiming to be from the RACV

They left the above number. Claimed they were from the RACV and had sent me correspondence re my membership but the letter was returned as I no longer live at the address they have on record. They want me to call them back. I checked the RACV web site and could not find the above number. So I emailed the RACV and informed them as yet no reply. I have not had an RACV membership for over ten years.
