I called Citi to follow up on an old account that I owe them money on. CitiBank Collections provided me with this number to call, and advised it was called T.C.S and was a 'third party' handling the account now - might not be fake

Scammers looking for personal banking info over the phone, pretending to be from bank

Received mail to my address and full name proposing a settlement offer of 50% off balance on a Virgin Credit Card if I paid balance in full. Letter presented well but offer too good to be true! Checked the phone number and read all the above reviews. Total scam but how did they get all the personal details!!?

Claimed from Citibank needing to verify my details. Asked how much she gets paid to scam people, surprise she hung up.

Claiming to be from citibank debt recovery

received a call to payout my credit card reached an agreement was about to transfer the cash but then asked for an email to verify the agreement? they said no we don't send email but you will get something in the mail within 7days. I was given a biller code and ref number. Something didn't sound right i asked for the number for Citibank they gave this 1300 879 462 --- Total Scam Stay Well Clear! These guys knew my address and how much i owed on the card how do they get this info???

Scammer's, says it's really urgeng must ring back.
I'm with CITI bank and thats not how they operate.
Dont call back.

Claims to be citibank on behalf of Suncorp wanting my personal info.

When advised that I don't know who they are and I am not about to give out info they wanted to threaten it was recorded. They gave out this 1300 number claiming it was Citibank. Web site investigation does not show a 1300 matching this number anywhere on Citibank or Suncorp.
