I had received a text saying I had an outstanding account balance it seemed legit but not sure as it I had paid account as I was in hospital which I paid $7.30 for medication but it’s saying I owe $31.17 which is an odd amount as I am a pensioner so I pay 7.30 for medication I tried ringing the number and it kept going called busy but the biller code is different then the one I used to pay the other amount I owe but it had the same reference which is confusing

Look up your hospital phone number, ring them and ask for the accounts department. Tell them about the text and they will check for anything outstanding. I've had this type by text before. All a scam.

Saying I’ve got pharmacy bill outstanding.
Number continuously busy if you call back. Is this a scam - anyone had same issue?
