Telling me I have outstanding amount of $600 and if I pay within 48hrs. I will only have to pay $300 and my account will be settled. Check with my telco and was told my account was up to date and they are not agents for my telco. Damn scammers. Please be aware

Scammy McScamface bastards have sent multiple emails and texts offering credit rating threats, discounts if I pay, and another 48-hour demand for payment. Optus doesn't have an account for me with the account number, has no outstanding payments etc. DO NOT be fooled.

Got a text and then email stating I owed a certain amount for a phone bill. Looked very official. Called my phone provider and they stated that the email was not related to them and that they had a number of customers calling regarding this company scamming them. My phone provider advised me not to pay any bills via the links on the email from Commercial Credit Control. Just got another email stating that they had "negotiated" a lower fee and would cancel the bill if I paid that amount immediately. I just spoke to my provider yesterday so this again was a scam email. Do not give any supposed debt collector your money through their links or call them. Call the service provider to check.

PLEASE BE AWARE....
Numerous text and phone messages claiming they are from Commercial Credit Control, acting on behalf of Optus. Optus confirmed I have no outstanding bills and not to engage with them. When I called them to confront them, they hung up on me. SCAMMERS!

They are scamming people pretending to be debt collector for telecommunication company ("COMCREDIT"). They use the link in text message as a bait to upload malware onto your system.
