This is a scam number supposedly connected to Mendelsons Lawyers

Received a text message from 0439 584 805 "Please contact Mason Black and Mendelsons Lawyers urgently on 1300 132 859 quoting your reference, 100120632." Seems like a scam to me.

Caller: I don't know but claimed to be Australian Clinical Labs

This number connected with a scam SMS claiming to Australian clinical Labs re account. This is the number for recoveriescorp that SMS says to call

This is the second time at least that I have received a similar text. No I refuse to answer such tests or messages and instead check the number on the internet. Bingo! That's how I ended up here!

On Tuesday 17 May 2022 10:15am I received a text from 0436 027 469: "Please contact Mason Black + Mendelsons on 1300 132 859 and quote ref: 814724198. I replied that it was a SCAM & I had notified ACCC Scamwatch & Mason Black + Mendelsons. Received this response: "Recoveriescorp ABN 19 052 138 799 is a legitimate business operating for over 25 years. We understand your concerns around our legitimacy and your privacy ... You can call us back on 1300 307 497 and quote your reference number between 8:30am to 8:00pm AEDST Monday to Friday. I replied that they post me a letter if it is a "legitimate business" and also asked that they provide details of who they are allegedly acting on behalf of "recoveries". No response. I have notified ACCC Scamwatch & emailed Mason Black + Mendelsons.

I accidentally clicked the link. It goes to the confirmation of giving guardianship of me to Mendelsons Lawyers. Never heard this

I received texts from different mobile numbers. I rang the 1300 # but no one ever answers. I leave a message but no one ever replies. Just more threats. Sent emails be never get a reply. Classic scammers. No communication other than the threats and hope people will click the link and pay.

Never reply to anything like this ever..don’t be stupid folks..

This number is not the right number for Mendelson Lawyers there number is different including their 1300 number.
Therefore, this number 1300 132 859 is a scam and you will not be arrested..

Multiple numbers texting daily pretending to be mason black law firm
I have deleted and blocked at least 12 spoof texting numbers and yet they continue every day

I got one text similar to the one mentioned above, i followed the link but nothing confirmed. Based on the above conversations i searched for Mason Black + Mendelsons and contacted local address and understood this was one of the Covid test payment collection call. Pls spend little time to contact with the reference and settle any differences. I hope this helps.

I’ve reported this number a few times to Scamwatch… it’s not a bona fide msg at all. DEFINITELY PHISHING …

Recoveriescorps acts on behalf of the NSW Govt alleging you owe toll money when tolls in NSW are privately owned. They have been messaging me for years even though I haven't lived in NSW for 10 years, so I just ignore the sms'..

I called the number from a pay phone so there would be o trace of who called. It's an endless recording saying all of their operators are busy and to go to the website. I used a VPN to visit and it blocked me. DO NOT TOUCH THIS PLEASE!
