Had a missed call from this number, tried to call back and got an auto message saying that the number was not connected.

I called back number (08) 9467 5876 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Had a call from this number on my mobile, tried to call back from my work phone and got an auto message saying that the number was disconnected

After a few seconds said they were calling about compensation for an accident I was in. I haven’t had an accident, obviously would have pushed for all my bank/personal details!! SCAM!!

A call to my mobile wanting to speak about a recent motor vehicle accident I had ... which I hadn't. Hung up immediately of course and blocked the number.

This might be a scam. The caller suggested I'd had a car accident some time back. He spoke with a foreign accent.
