Caller: an ingrate from some foreign land

(08)9 397 is local to me. That is my prefix in west australia. The caller was not from Australia. Asked if I was the person who pays the natural gas bill. When I said "no" they hung up on me. If you are going to make unsolicited calls, harass me and take up my time, at least have the decency to say please, thank you and goodbye. Ingrate.

Googled, but couldn't find anything useful there either.

I called back number (08) 9397 9960 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

warning do not answer , do not call back scammers from overseas. block number straight away.

called from Armadale. Missed the call. No voice mail. Looks like spam.

Caller doesn’t sound Australian. when I told her that I won’t disclose any information about which gas company I’m with she said that whatever information she wants to relay is not for stupid people. You’re the one who is stupid who thinks you can fool me..🤬

Recieved call today. Someone trying to get me to switch gas supplier. Very rude and persistent.

Did not answer that No. as it is unknown. They should not have had my number as it is unlisted and new - so they use a random number generator to make unsolicited calls. They are testing to see if your number is active - so DO NOT RESPOND.

Trying to flog a gas deal. They are full of their own product!
