Answered the call it’s for trading. Apparently I registered, which I definitely did not. Told her I hadn’t registered, she relayed my email address and I asked where she got it from. Rudely told me it’s from your registration, I just told you. I told her that was BS that I was not interested in trading and never would be and at no point registered.
She told me she was going to get everyone to call me and hung up.

Got a missed call 18/06/2020 - I called back and was informed it was disconnected - then googled number online and saw this forum and others having the same sh*t from the same number. Over this crap - no idea how its happened but I have had my details hacked twice over the last 3 months for emails, eBay and my phone account - passwords changed and my access denied - delivery addresses and contact numbers altered - prepaid phone orders made on my account but not by me - fortunately I have everything set up so I receive a msg every time access is made to my accounts and have been able to sort it out promptly - and put measures in place that also require pin numbers to access my accounts - put a complaint on an online scam agency - spoke to the police who told me they have committed no crime and nothing they can do - which I find bizarre considering they have breached my privacy and private accounts and changed information - no wonder these scum keep getting away with sh*t - go figure!

Unsolicited call that when I answered had a delay before the call was responded to (suspect call routing system) and had a female with an Asian accent say hello. Promptly hung up as clearly unsolicited as my number is a private number and this was not a local Perth number even though it displayed as such.

Caller: a "trading company"

A "work at home passive income" "share trading" company. A heavy Indian accent, claimed to be in Australia, could not provide a valid ABN, then claimed to be in UK instead.

A money laundering scam most likely.

Answered the call and nobody answered. Sounded like dead air. Called back and Optus advised that the mobile number is disconnected. Comes us as Perth, Western Australia. Really getting tired of these stupid phone calls.
