Robo scam call claiming to be Department of Home Affairs.

I had 2 missed calls from this number this week. After reading these comments saying it was Australian Super, I called the Australian Super number from their website (not this number).

The Australian Super call centre had no record of any contact attempts for my account and said that they would usually either leave a message asking for a call back or make contact via a different method (i.e. email).

I don't know if this is scam or hoax call or not, but I reported the number to Australian Super just in case.

Scammer. Automated message claiming to be from Dept of Home Affairs. Says your ID is being used and you have a case lodged against you. Wanted to speak to them, pressed 1, as per msg, got through to an Indian accent, told them to F*** Off.

I called back and they identified as Australian Super. They said they would call back if they needed to.
They could be anyone.

I had a call from this number today claiming to be from the tax office. I was put through to a call centre and the respondant had a heavy indian accent. They claimed that fradulent activity was being done with my identity and asked for my personal details, which I didn't provide as it was quite obviously a scam. I have reported this to the ATO and they confirmed it was a scam call.

This number called me with automated voice saying there is a warrant out for my arrest and that the federal government is after me for money I owe. Bunch of bull crap and such a threatening message. Not okay to be calling people and saying this kind of sh*t. Will be reporting!

Got call from (08) 9211 6444 and it was Australian Super checking on a business account that i opened for a new business. I believe it is legit but not quit sure. They were just checking if i needed help with anything or setting up a clearing account or if i wanted to add other contact people to the account beside myself. I did have to confirm the business name, address and ABN number with them.

I asked for a callback and this is the number that called - not scam
