Its a survey for SA Health. I just blocked them, since they dont listen when you politely tell them to go f*ck themselves.

Calls several times when you answer there is someone on the other side of the line but doesn’t talk and then hangs up

it is McNair Yellow Squares calling who are a survey company employed by SA health to get data for them,
as stated on SA Health fact sheet further down the page on first page of google search when you check up this number.
also if you go to McNair website it says a few numbers on the main page but up the top it said "have you received a call from us?" and when you go to the next page the list shows this number in their numbers
I have added the list below and also the hours you might get hassled by them, if they are annoying you, either just block their numbers or ring them and asked to be removed from their lists because they have more than one number they can call from.

All telephone surveys conducted by McNair yellowSquares may be monitored or recorded for training and quality control purposes. Respondents have the option to discontinue the survey at any time.

McNair yellowSquares conducts interviews during the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 10am to 8:30pm
Saturday: 10am to 5pm
Sunday: 10am to 5pm (as required)

They get the same number as SA health with few digit changes they got 97 at last whereas govt SA have (08) 8470 6999 at last which they are using for the surveys. But these people are scammer and want to access ur data and mis use the information. So aware of them
And block this number

Blocked them, no problems from then on.

Called back the number (08) 8470 6997 and reached vm but couldn't hear the name of the company

Caller is calling regarding surveys on behalf of government. Due to this they are able to call silent numbers and numbers on the do not call register. They will call multiple times. Easiest thing to do is answer once, ask for them to not call again. They should then remove you as a declined to participate. Calling multiple times every day. I've blocked them but still getting notifications they called. Becoming very annoying.

yeah, you keep reporting buddy! Someone will listen one day, if they don't, report them again using a moderate amount of capital letters - that should show them that you are REALLY cross. Don't worry - they forced your hand.

SPAM called 3 seperate times in one day, done this 2wks in a row.

It sounded like a male voice who said "your a bitch" to someone in the background as it was very faint.... when I said hello, he went silent but sounded like he was travelling in a car. Thanks for interrupting my ice coffee moron!!
